Anti Bullying
Safeguarding & Equality
We are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all our pupils so they can learn in a relaxed and secure atmosphere. Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at our school. If bullying does occur, all pupils should be able to tell and know that the incidents will be dealt with promptly and effectively. We are a TELLING school. This means that anyone who knows that bullying is happening is expected to tell the staff and to ‘Call it out’.
This principle is linked to our school policies on behaviour, child protection, ‘looked after’ children, inclusion, race equality and cultural diversity. We aim to promote positive behaviour and to create an ethos where every person is valued and diversity is celebrated. Children are involved in the creation of school and class rules that give clear guidance about our expectations of behaviour.
