Mrs R Baker

As a child I attended Chapel Infants School and then Warmbrook Junior School. I had positive experiences at both of these schools and it was during my primary school career that I decided that I wanted to become a primary school teacher myself.

After gaining the relevant GCSE and A-Level qualifications, I studied for four years at Manchester Met University, gaining an honours degree in Primary School teaching. During this time, I had very successful teaching placements in Macclesfield, Manchester, Whaley Bridge and here at Chapel Primary School!

Following the completion of my degree, a teaching vacancy at Chapel Primary School was advertised, which I applied for, and was successful in securing. Thirteen years later and I’m still here (!) having taught in many year groups across the school.
