Mr C Woodward

My career in teaching didn’t start straight from school. After completing my A Levels, I became a Store Manager for the Cooperative. In this role, I worked across the North West and Lake District.

At 22, I decided to go to Sheffield Hallam University and become a teacher. Whilst training and during the early years of my teaching career, I worked with children with autism at Peak House in Chinley.

As a teacher, I worked at a large Primary School in Tameside in Years 4 to 6. In 2006, I worked at our school as a student and when a job came up, my previous experience with special needs pupils and positive experience at the school, led me to apply.
