Learning Support Assistant (2 Posts)

Salary Details: Grade 5 £6,962.04 – £7,201.44 per annum (payment to include annual leave and bank holiday entitlements).

Appointment Type: Permanent

Hours: 17 hours and 30 minutes per week, 39 weeks per year

The governors are seeking to appoint 2 flexible, hardworking, friendly and caring individuals to join our team. You need to enjoy a varied work pattern with a variety of duties. You will take responsibility to moving children on with “their next steps for learning.” This will need to be recorded methodically and accurately.

You must be able to take direction from a range of professionals but work on your own initiative as well. You need to be proactive towards classroom management and teaching and learning.

This posts will commence on 1st September, 2018.

You will work with individuals but also take responsibilities for small groups to improve the outcomes for all learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) unit.

The working pattern will be:
Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 12.15pm, with potential for additional hours.

Paediatric First Aid Qualification is essential. Full and relevant level 2 qualification is essential and level 3 desirable.
